Singer Britney Spears has just dropped her first dancing video of 2023. Although fans are used to seeing her living room as the background for most of her dancing videos, it seems that Britney opted for a change of scenery in her latest video.

Unfortunately, fans are a little bit concerned about Britney’s latest video. Even though she said that she danced to “Hips Don’t Lie” by Shakira, the music in the video is actually set to Jennifer Lopez’s “Booty” featuring Iggy Azalea!

Britney Spears Almost Licks A Lighter In Her Latest Dancing Video

In her latest Instagram video, the 41-year-old pop star shared another video that featured her twirling and shaking her booty in front of the camera. She is wearing a black crop top that says “LOVE THE WORKOUT” in bright red letters along with grey shorts and red fingerless gloves.

“Found my hands with some red gloves !!!” Britney wrote in the caption. “I meditated to ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ by @shakira !!! I just said ‘keep shaking you’re a–’ and I did for 3 hours !!!” Maybe Shakira’s hit song inspiring her dancing marathon, because the music in the video is really set to Jennifer Lopez’s “Booty” featuring Iggy Azalea.

“Not really punctual and will probably take down in two days … but I think I just found the playground 😝😝😝 !!!” Britney added, switching into sneakers for the second half of her lengthy video.

Although the “Baby One More Time” singer has turned comments off on her latest Instagram post, several fans were worried about the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer, especially when she held a lighter up to her tongue as if she was about to lick it.

There has been a lot of concern over Britney’s social media accounts lately, with some fans speculating that her husband, Iranian actor Sam Asghari, has secretly been controlling what she posts. Other conspiracy theories have even gone so far as to say that Britney is really dead and the people who “control her” are actually just posting old photos and videos to keep up the illusion!

Sam Asghari Shoots Down Rumors That He Controls Britney’s Instagram Account!

In a run-in with paparazzi shared via TMZ, the “Hot Seat” actor claimed that Britney is free to post whatever she likes on Instagram and he has no control over it. Sam was asked directly if he was controlling her social media pages. However, the former fitness trainer just joked that he doesn’t even control what they eat for dinner!

The “Can You Keep A Secret?” actor was then asked about the conspiracy theories concerning Britney’s Instagram account. “In the past, there has been a lot of stuff going on so I understand where they’re coming from,” Sam replied. “They’re just being protective. If anything, they’re being good fans.”

Over the past few months, she has been posting, deleting, and then reposting old videos, often with strange captions, such as one where she recently said she was changing her name to “Brooklyn.” That post, like many others, was deleted shortly after posting.

It’s prompted even more concern for Britney’s well-being. Shortly before that video, Sam took to his Instagram Stories to address the growing controversy, thanking “protective fans” for their concern, but assuring them that Britney “is a free woman.”

Sam Addresses Britney’s Social Media Behavior

The “When We Grow Up” actor took to his Instagram Stories in late December to assure fans that Britney was the only one in control of her social media accounts.

“Social media can be traumatizing. Sometimes it’s good to take a break,” he wrote. “She has her voice and is a free woman. I have respect for her privacy and I protect it at all times.”

Thank you to all of her protective fans,” he continued. “Out of respect for her privacy, I don’t post her 24/7. I ask for permission if I ever do.”

“For my job, I have to attend many events,” he went on. “It would be my honor if she joins. For her, those things are not fun. They’re [hectic] and full of stress. [Specially], since she’s been doing these things since 8 years old. Plus she already slayed every single one she has been to.”

“I’ve always respected and supported her privacy with everything I’ve had,” he continued.

“I ask of you supportive and protective fans to do the same. Sometimes, being over protective can cause more stress and damage.”

Although some fans have knocked the conspiracy theories – especially the latest one that insinuated that the two stars hired body doubles for their Christmas video – other fans are still begging the “Hold Me Closer” singer to go on Instagram Live and address their concerns directly.
