Florence Pugh Celebrates 26th Birthday With Edgy Outfit And Hair: ‘Just Gets Better And Better’
Florence Pugh is ringing in the new year the best way possible – a birthday celebration!
The actress marked her 26th birthday on January 3, two days after New Year’s Day, and reflected on her exciting life in an intimate post.
Florence Pugh Turns 26!
Pugh marked the special day with new photos showing off her eccentric style. “The Falling” actress ditched her signature long blonde hairstyle for an edgy pixie cut with sharp cuts.
She donned an oversized blue turtleneck sweater with a plaid a-line skirt and a pair of chunky sneakers. Pugh accessorized with a chunky gold necklace and posed in front of an old building while making several faces. In the caption, she wrote:
This puppy turns 26 today. Another lap around the sun. Another day to wear FANTASTIC CHUNKY SHOES. My older sister told me last night, “it just gets better and better.”
The celebrant admitted that she didn’t believe her sister’s message when she was younger. However, now that she’s older, she realizes that each year is magical because of growth.
Reflecting on her life so far, the English star wrote, “26 years of an unbelievable amount of incredible special people who have taught me, loved me, educated me. Some still here, some not.”
The Oxford native thanked her fans and community for the “every 3rd of January love” given to her and noted she was ever grateful for the messages, videos, letters, and voice notes sent. She concluded, promising to give more birthday updates after she’s done having “too many martinis.”
Pugh’s Friendship With Hailee Steinfeld In ‘Hawkeye’
Last month, Pugh’s working relationship with co-star Hailee Steinfeld was made headlines. Pugh stole hearts earlier this year after she featured in Marvel’s “Black Widow” alongside Scarlet Johansson.
She played the role of Yelena Belova, Natasha Romanoff’s sister, and undoubtedly excelled at it. As a result, fans of the superhero franchise lost it when she made an appearance in an episode of “Hawkeye.”
However, no one was as excited as Steinfeld, who stars as Kate Bishop in the limited series. As The Blast reported, Steinfeld opened up about how she felt to work alongside Pugh in an interview.
“The minute I know that she [Pugh] was gonna be a part of the show, I was very excited. I am a huge fan of Florence and her work,” Steinfeld gushed.
The Iconic Macaroni Scene
Steinfeld also talked about the infamous macaroni scene where Bishop walked into her apartment to see a hungry Yelena who made some Mac and cheese after trying to kill her.
Steinfeld confessed she was “impressed” by how Pugh executed the fun scene and the hilarious banter between both characters.
