The singer, born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, shared a photo of herself at her “The Chromatic Ball Tour” last year, covered with a huge watermark of the drug at the top right-hand corner. According to the Daily Mail, the campaign, which featured Lady Gaga as the face of Pfizer’s new migraine medication, Nurtec ODT, was met with widespread backlash from her fans and followers.

Alongside the photo of Lady Gaga, other snaps contained details from Pfizer’s marketing team on safety information, side effects, and general information about the migraine drug.

“Ever since childhood, I’ve dealt with migraine pain. When I tried Nurtec® ODT (rimegepant) 75 mg for the first time, I’ll never forget wishing I had found it sooner,” she captioned the post in part.

“That’s why I’m proud to partner with Nurtec ODT. We’re in this together. If you’re ready to speak to a doctor, ask about Nurtec ODT today. #MHAM,” the caption also read.

Following the “Rain on Me” hitmaker’s post, social media platforms became flooded with comments from disappointed fans who felt let down by their idol’s decision to partner with the pharmaceutical giant.

“This is so heartbreaking and disheartening,” a fan shared on her Instagram page. “Not a single post about pride and the attacks our trans brothers and sisters suffer. No fan interaction, no music, and even the chromatic ball seem to be shelved, and all you guys care about now is money and paid partnerships. This is disappointing.”

Another fan wrote, “Your fans are extremely disappointed and ashamed. We miss the old Gaga, not the money-hungry shell of a person you’ve become.”

“Gaga, what’s happening?” one shocked fan quizzed. “Is this the matrix attack? Has someone taken over your account… this is so cringe coming from you.”

A fan called her post “embarrassing,” while another asked her to “log off her account.”

Lady Gaga Calls Foul In $500,000 Reward Lawsuit

According to CBS News, the “Shallow” singer is facing a legal battle over paying a $500,000 reward sum following the theft of her beloved French bulldogs in February 2021. Lady Gaga recently filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, citing “conspiracy fraud” and challenging the claim’s legitimacy.

The incident occurred in 2021 when her dog walker was attacked, and two French bulldogs, Koji and Gustav, were stolen. The singer promptly offered a substantial reward of $500,000 for the “safe return” of her dogs, emphasizing her deep attachment to her beloved pets.

According to the news outlet, a mystery woman named Jennifer McBride returned the dogs that same day.

However, going by recent court documents, Lady Gaga argues that McBride had direct involvement in the theft itself. The motion to dismiss the lawsuit alleges a “conspiracy fraud” orchestrated by the claimant to extract the reward money through deception.

“Plaintiff Jennifer McBride seeks to profit from her participation in a crime. The law does not allow a person to commit a crime and then profit from it,” court documents read.
