Rosie O’Donnell And Girlfriend Aimee Hauer Become Red Carpet Official

Rosie O’Donnell appeared on top of the world when she and her girlfriend Aimee Hauer made their relationship red carpet official.

The comedian, actress, and talk show host embraced Hauer on the red carpet just before her comedy performances at an event.

The pair’s red carpet debut comes after O’Donnell and Hauer made their relationship social media official last month.

Before she climbed the stage to entertain the folks at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, O’Donnell ensured she snuck in a hug with her girlfriend, Hauer.

Per a PEOPLE report, the 60-year-old rested her head on Hauer’s head while wrapping their hands around each other at the July 16’s “Stand Up for Friendly House” comedy benefit.

The show is dedicated to raising funds for women recovering from drug and alcohol abuse.

The Emmy Award winner opted for a casual look in a gray-and-white striped shirt, black jeans, and a brown jacket. She complimented her fit with black leather sneakers and round-frame eyeglasses.

As for her date, Hauer rocked a short black dress with short ruffled sleeves, uplifted with the black leather harness she wore over her chest. She also wore black boots, which brought attention to her tattoos and legs.

The red carpet debut comes after O’Donnell kicked off Pride Month by making their love affair Instagram official in June.

The Blast shared that the “Tarzan” star posted a picture of Hauer’s arms wrapped around her neck as they smiled at the camera.

Along with an LGBTQ flag, rainbow, love, and heart emojis, O’Donnell wrote “Happy PRIDE!!” in the post’s caption.

Within hours, the comedian’s supportive fans trooped into the comment section to gush over the duo’s same-sex relationship, with one person excitedly penning, “you deserve it!”

The “Sleepless in Seattle” star first hinted at finding love when she shared a snapshot of her hand resting on the leg of a then-unidentified woman with numerous tattoos.

It was not long before commenters started guessing who the mystery woman in the image could be.

Since then, the “Riding the Bus with My Sister” executive producer and her girlfriend have continued to flaunt their relationship on their social media pages.

Even though Hauer’s Instagram feed is “private,” fans get a complete view of her loved-up moments with O’Donnell on her TikTok handle.

The “I Know This Much Is True” Star’s Online Face-off With Priyanka Chopra

O’Donnell found herself in the news in April after a chance run-in with Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra at Nobu in Malibu, California.

However, The Blast divulged that things did not end well between the trio as O’Donnell mistook Chopra for somebody else.

In a since-deleted TikTok video she recorded while driving home from the restaurant, O’Donnell revealed that she met Chopra and Jonas. The couple was seated next to the mother-of-five, her son, and the actress Fran Drescher.

After claiming that she “just embarrassed” her son, she recalled the exchange with the celebrity couple:

“I said, ‘Hi, Nick Jonas. You were great in “Kingdom”‘ and [to Chopra] ‘Hi, I know your dad.’ She goes, ‘You do? Who’s my dad?’ And I’m like, ‘Deepak.’. She’s like, ‘No, and Chopra is a common name.’…I felt so embarrassed.”

For curious minds, Deepak Chopra is an Indian-born American author and alternative medicine advocate; his videos and books made him one of the best-known and wealthiest figures in alternative medicine.

She then turned to her son to ask, “Didn’t you think that Nick Jonas was married to Deepak Chopra’s daughter? Am I the only one who thought that?”

O’Donnell followed the social media post with an apology to Jonas and “to the Chopra wife, I apologize too.” Unfortunately, many people – including Chopra – thought the apology was backhanded and unreal, and they ensured she knew it.

Chopra issued a statement via a since-expired Instagram Story targeted at O’Donnell, writing:

“We ALL deserve to be respected for our unique individuality and not be referred to as ‘someone’ or ‘wife’ especially in a sincere apology.”

When Drescher – who witnessed the entire encounter – was asked her thoughts on the drama, she claimed that O’Donnell was a good woman who would “never want to hurt anybody.”
