It’s been over two months since Todd’s conviction, and his second daughter, Savannah, feels his absence. Having lived in close communication with her dad most of her life, his absence and jail term are taking a heavy toll on her.
The podcaster lamented how different living without the businessman in close contact was. She reposted a sad quote on her Instagram stories that conveyed how she missed her dad’s presence. The quote read, “but who will I call when something good happens? Happiness isn’t the same without you here.” She then tagged Todd’s Instagram to the quote.
The “Growing Up Chrisleys” star has been an open book through this challenging time of her parent’s absence and has shared she missed having them around. A few days ago, the 25-year-old opened up about her longing for her parents. As The Blast published, the second daughter of the Chrisleys expressed her feelings with a quote.
It read, “I hope that soon you get to dance around your living room with your answered prayer. I hope that you are so full of joy and contagious laughter. I hope that your person loves you just the way God intended. I hope it lasts a lifetime…all the way to heaven.”

Since her parents’ incarceration, she has cared for her younger brother Grayson and niece, Chloe. Sadly, the added responsibilities led her to suffer from a breakdown which she talked about in an episode of her podcast “Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley.”
The “Royal Pains” actress further discussed the challenges she faced as the primary caretaker of the 16-year-old and 10-year-old, recalling a moment when she broke down from the overwhelming responsibilities.
She said, “The other night, I had a full-on breakdown. I was trying to find Chloe proper clothes to go and visit my parents and find her hair stuff. I just sat down on the floor and started crying.”
Savannah Chrisley Has An Unforgettable Image Of Her Parent’s Demeanor After Verdict Was Pronounced
Admittedly, Todd’s incarceration left his kids with an experience none is forgetting soon. Earlier in the week, Savannah disclosed o during an episode of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s “Off The Vine With Kaitlyn Bristowe.” She stated that what she would “never forget” was her parents’ faces when the jury read their guilty verdict after nearly a month of trial.
Recalling the experience, Savannah said, “I will never forget the moment, sitting in that courtroom every day, a four-week trial. And it took three days for the verdict to come back.” She further recounted how the jury pronounced “guilty, guilty, guilty” over all the charges against her parents.
She continued, “And I just saw the looks on my parent’s faces and just everything. They were just in tears. We were not expecting that; we were like, ‘There’s no way.”
Further, into the conversation, Savannah shared that they plan to appeal the conviction. “I hope that this appeal will show those things because we were never given an evidentiary hearing by the judge.”
The reality star believes her parent’s offenses did not warrant such sentences. She said, “I know the things they have and have not done. I know the witch hunt. When the government wants someone, they want someone. They will do whatever it takes to make it look how they need it to look.”
